Artists’ books workshop and open house
Artist and educator Kalmia Strong will provide a talk and workshop on producing artist books, book-like objects created for artistic expression.
Vic Zaragoza art exhibit opening reception
Vic Zaragoza, a senior majoring in art education, will have an art exhibit May 5-16 in the New Art Building as part of the 2023 Art Education Showcase. A free opening reception will take place Friday, May 5, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Bergendoff Hall entrance closures
Both east entrances, near the ensemble room and ticket office, will be closed. Temporary walls have been constructed to keep everyone safe during this final phase of construction.

The annual Sloughfest music festival will feature performances from Muxia, Sara Zee, 99 Neighbors and student performers. The evening also includes games, prizes and more.
WIU, Augustana pave way for bachelor’s to master’s sport management program
Augustana students who have completed their undergraduate kinesiology degree, plus three bridge courses, can immediately transfer to WIU to complete the master of science degree. This allows students to meet both degree requirements in five years.
