Mid-Autumn Festival
The Asian Student Organization is sponsoring the Mid-Autumn Festival, an oppurtunity for students to mingle with and learn more about Asian culture. There will be mooncakes, tea, asian candies, and raffle prizes.

“The Frog and the Princess” Sept. 15-16
Augustana College will present an interactive children's show, “The Frog and the Princess,” at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 15-16 in the Brunner Theatre.
Welcome for Chris Schafer, library director
The staff of the Thomas Tredway Library will host a welcome reception for Chris Schafer, the new library director. Schafer joined Augustana at the end of July.
The event will run from 3:30-5 p.m.
Say What? Challenging Dysfunctional Language
Corey Miles, a diversity fellow in sociology, anthropology and social welfare, will speak on "Say What? Challenging Dysfunctional Language." The talk is the first in the Conversation Series sponsored by the Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity.

Figge Music History Class: French Inspirations
Dr. Randall B Hall, associate professor at Augustana College will lead this class on a journey through the musical developments in France from 1850-1950.
World Languages Research Colloquium: Can’t We All Just Get Along? Conflict and Communitas Along the Camino de Santiago
Dr. Megan Havard-Rockwell, assistant professor of Spanish, will present "Can’t We All Just Get Along? Conflict and Communitas
Along the Camino de Santiago." It is the first in a series of World Languages Research Colloquiums.
Best Buddies Kickoff
Best Buddies will kickoff their organization this year with a carnival themed event featuring outdoor games and food.
First-year trivia night
The Office of Student Life and Leadership will host a night of fun and trivia for first-year students.
Students will reconnect with their peer groups and compete for a chance to win prizes.
