Teaching Assistant Program in France

Students interested in spending a year in France teaching English after graduation can learn about the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF).

The 2018-2019 call for applications opens in early October. 

Auditions for "In the Next Room"

Auditions will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 16-17 for "In the Next Room," or the vibrator play. Play performances are at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26, 27, Feb. 2, 3, and at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 28 and Feb. 4.

Viking Steppers info meetings

Two informational meetings will be held for students who would like to start a step team on campus called Viking Steppers. No experience is needed.

Meetings will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and Oct. 16 in the lounge at Westerlin Hall.

Homecoming Games and Regatta

Student groups will compete for the title of Homecoming Games champions at this event. Free food, raffles and prizes.

Games will be held on the Quad; the annual cardboard regatta takes place in the Slough.

Tredway Library Prize celebration

The Tredway Library will congratulate Jack Harris, winner of the 2017 Tredway Library Prize for First-Year Research.

National Coming Out Day Open Mic Night

The Gender and Sexuality Alliance invites all to celebrate National Coming Out Day 2017 with an Open Mic Night; free refreshments, arts, crafts and glitter.

Melinda Pavek '92 will speak about on international employment and the preparation of a liberal arts education. She is a foreign service officer with the State Department's Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs.

Spanish Club movie:  "El Secreto de Sus Ojos"

Spanish Club will show the Argentine mystery film "El Secreto de Sus Ojos" (The Secret in Their Eyes).
