Communicating through soccer and Minecraft
Augustana's Dr. Michael Scarlett has combined his passion for soccer, education and research into a collaborative project based on the popular video game Minecraft.
"Polar Soundscapes" will be heard Jan. 11
Oona Stern and Cheryl Leonard will perform "Polar Soundscapes" on Jan. 11 in the final event of the Art above 66° 33' exhibition at the Augustana Teaching Museum of Art.

Meersman '88 heads Pine Ridge Hospital
Pine Ridge (S.D.) Hospital, a 45-bed facility in the Indian Health Service Great Plains Area, has welcomed Mark Meersman as CEO. He graduated from Augustana in 1988 with a degree in theatre arts, and has an MBA from City University of Seattle.

Brook '91 named Clinton administrator
Matthew Brooke '91 is the new city administrator for Clinton, Iowa. A business major here, Brooke has an MBA from Iowa State University and a master's in education from American InterContinental University.
Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Augustana will include “Solidarity: Use Your Voice,” a community celebration and musical tribute at 6 p.m. at Centennial Hall.
Auditions for "Stop Kiss"
Auditions for Augustana's April play "Stop Kiss" will be held from 5-9 p.m.
Callbacks will be from 3-5 p.m. Jan. 13 as needed.
Performance dates are April 6-9. The play is by Diana Son and directed by Audrey Johnsen.
