HIV researcher to speak at Symposium Day

Augustana's Winter Symposium Day will focus on Social Justice. The daylong event on Tuesday, Jan. 20 will take the place of classes, and the entire campus community will have the opportunity to discuss a variety of issues related to Social Justice. Augustana professors lead CommUniversity courses

Lauren Kirik '14 came to Augustana to become a graphic designer, but an internship at a full-service branding company convinced her otherwise. Dr. Mike Wolf suggested she take a course in mineralogy after Geology 101, and as Kirik says, "I never looked back."
