Students create amazing snow sculptures for contest
Students braved sub-zero wind chills for the 2024 Winter Wonderland Competition. The contest featured 23 entries, with judging criteria centered on the creativity and quality of the sculpture.
Hockey game outing: QC Storm
Augustana is hosting a free outing to the QC Storm hockey game during J-term break.
Hanson Hall closed
Hanson Hall of Science is closed for use until further notice due to weather related water issues. Alternative classroom assignments have been communicated to faculty.
Donuts and Donations
Decorate mini donuts with Sigma Pi Delta from 6-8 p.m. They will also be collecting clothing donations for Closet2Closet.
If you would like to be escorted to Wallenberg Hall, active members will meet students at Seminary, Andreen and Westerlin 10 minutes before the event.
Language placement exam
The Language Placement Exam will be held Feb. 6, beginning promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Dr. Gauri A. Pitale selected as Augustana’s vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion
Dr. Gauri A. Pitale, an accomplished educator with extensive experience in DEI programming and advising student clubs and organizations, will join the college Feb. 29 to lead Augustana’s Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
