'night, Mother

"’night, Mother" tells the story of Thelma and Jessie, a mother and daughter in crisis. This evening could have been like any other if it weren’t for Jessie’s shocking decision and the brutally honest conversation with Thelma that follows. Will a mother's love be enough to overcome years of untreated depression?

The play by Marsha Norman won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1983.

Directed by Augustana senior Amy Nicholson.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. March 3, 4 and 5, and at 1:30 pm. March 6.
