'Wayfinding' art exhibit opening reception

From Aug. 14 to Oct. 3, 2025, Quad City Arts will present ceramic sculpture by Lori Roderick, Augustana's associate vice president of development; woven tapestries by Rowen Schussheim, professor emerita of art; and abstract paintings by Zaiga Minka Thorson.

The public is invited to a free opening reception on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Quad City Arts’ downtown Rock Island gallery. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments as they explore the gallery.
