Augustana College offers a health savings account for those employees enrolled in a high deductible health plan (HDHP). This account is managed by Quad City Bank and Trust. HDHPs allow employees to set aside pre-tax earnings to be used for eligible medical expenses.  This amount is payroll deducted and loaded automatically onto a debit card.

Employees may change the annual election amount only during open enrollment. In addition, employees may enroll or change their election after experiencing one of the following qualifying events: marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, death, or loss of coverage elsewhere.
