Eligibility

Vision insurance is offered to those employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week on either an academic or calendar year basis. Faculty members who teach 18 credit hours or more per year are considered full-time. New employees are eligible on the first of the month following their hire date.

This program is administered by MetLife. The following rates apply for the 2026 calendar year:

• Employee:  $6.93
• Employee + 1: $12.49
• Employee and family: $18.72

Enrollment is available at the time or hire or during open enrollment periods.
