
Augustana Symphonic Band to tour Japan
The Augustana Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. James Lambrecht, will perform concerts in Japan in March and April.
From opera to jazz, Augustana ensembles offer student musicians the opportunity to broaden their understanding, skills and love of music. Ensembles provide students with a high level of performance quality and in-depth exposure to music literature across a wide variety of genres and time periods.

The Augustana Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. James Lambrecht, will perform concerts in Japan in March and April.
Amy Croft '19, who teaches vocal music to grades 6-8 in Geneseo, Ill., received the Early Service Educator Award from the Illinois Music Educators Association in January.
The 52-voice Augustana Choir will perform on tour in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa in March and April. The choir has a tradition of touring abroad and throughout the United States.
The Quad City Symphony Orchestra will present "Masterworks IV: Bella & Brahms."
Dr. Erin Freund will offer a harp recital. She is a part-time assistant professor of music at Augustana and teaches harp and music appreciation.
Music will hold a Declaration Party to welcome newly declared majors and minors.
