Welcome to Augustana Catering. Our services are available to the entire college and local community. Catering Services welcomes your patronage and wishes to be of service to you. We recommend that you review our Catering Special Information and Policies for helpful information and to ensure a successful event.

Our catering professionals will attend to every detail to allow you the pleasure of a carefree event. We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of food quality and service, not only to meet, but to exceed your expectations. 

Full-service and banquet-style catering offered in the Gerber Center Gävle Rooms

Gävle Rooms – Full-service buffets, plated meals and receptions with china or disposables, linens as needed and staff with room capacity of 25–259 guests. The Gävle room can be divided in to three rooms. There are two areas outside the room for buffets if additional seating is needed within the rooms.

Everyday catering for on-campus delivery for meeting meals, snacks and drink support

Let us take care of your next meeting or event with easy menu options and convenient on campus delivery or pick up options. Compostable plates, napkins, cutlery, utensils, recyclable service ware and linen needed for buffet service table are included in your order. After your event you are responsible for disposing of all waste while making sure non-disposable utensils, linens or catering equipment are left for catering to return for pickup. As the host of the catered event, you are responsible for the equipment we have provided for the service of your catered event. The cost to replace any missing or damaged catering equipment or supplies will be charged to your account.

Delivery orders require a $50 minimum. If order minimums are not met pick up will be required from the Gerber Dining Center loading dock.  

Groups larger than 25 or in need of service staff should consider reserving space in the Gerber Center Gävle Rooms. 

Campus Delivery Menu and How to Reserve Space

Augustana Catering is the sole source provider of all hosted events on campus. Dining Services is periodically unavailable to fulfill orders due to other scheduled engagements and unforeseen circumstances. The department keeps an updated calendar with unavailable dates and times to assist in conveniently planning campus events as a convenience to those in the planning process. Catering will work with Dining Service to cover most available dates. Food waiver approvals and exemptions will typically be granted if Catering Services will be over extended upon review of each event. These exemptions will be granted at the discretion of the Director of Auxiliary Services and the Catering Manager providing the request was submitted prior to the established deadlines. There is an automatic exemption for events with 15 or fewer and spending less than $100.
